Episode 001 — Lucienne Abdala
K'uychi Muses is an ongoing film series exploring the stories, processes and worlds of inspiring women through moving image.
For our first episode, we step inside the studio of Peruvian multidisciplinary artist Lucienne Abdala, whose ceramic practice is guided by intuition, color and constant exploration.
Working primarily with clay, Lucienne creates one-of-a-kind pieces and small collections where gesture, spontaneity and imperfection become part of each object's identity. Her work exists between art and everyday life, transforming functional objects into poetic forms that invite a slower way of seeing.
This film offers a glimpse into her creative universe—where ideas take shape through making, and every piece becomes a quiet conversation between material, process and imagination.
